This half-day retreat is available to those who have attended an 8 week MBSR course.

Led by Sue Howse, this half-day retreat is an opportunity to further explore self compassion practices and our experiences from them.

The foundation of self-compassion is mindfulness followed by the intention and effort to soothe and comfort oneself. Self-compassion involves teaching ourselves kindly, like we would a good friend or pet we cared about. Rather than continually judging and evaluating ourselves. Self-compassion involves generating kindness towards ourselves as imperfect human beings.
