Othona West Dorset – the best seaside retreat on the south coast?

A week in community on the gorgeous Dorset coast, with an informal but infectious musical theme. All on a pay-what-you-can basis!

Whether you’re new to Othona or longing to be back for the nth time, why not give this experimental week a try?

Experimental because we’re just asking you to pay whatever you feel able, not quoting a price! But reliable in other ways: laughter and relaxation, good homemade food, and an atmosphere of delightful sounds. Chances to share the music you love, to make music or sing perhaps – maybe a drum circle with the Othona djembes.

We can encounter local musicians or sample the wonderful Sidmouth Folk Festival – a renowned feast of folk/roots music and dance for all ages. We can look forward to one or more day visits to Sidmouth in shared cars. All this in Othona’s inclusive community ethos. 

N.B. This week is open to all ages, but there’ll be no special activities for children. A Families Week originally scheduled for these dates is cancelled.

Please book online in the usual way. We will only invoice you for the £30 per person deposit to reserve your place. Anymore you pay will be at your discretion while you are with us.
