FYI... We had to suspend our locals events due to covid. We will be reviewing re-establishing events. Sign up for our Newsletter if you would like to get news of the latest happenings!
Therefore, the events listed below are no longer taking place at the moment, but they give a flavour of the kind of things we like to offer to locals here at Othona...
Othona plays host to a range of non-residential day and evening events, including a twice monthly Biodanza class, One World Worship on the first Sunday of the month, frequent Mindfulness meditation days, Volunteering days, a Guild of Health prayer group, Dawn Chorus, concerts, parties....and Cream Teas!
One World Worship
1st Sunday of the month at 6pm (No OWW in August)
This is a once-a-month event, open to all comers, in the Othona chapel.
Join us for One World Worship on the first Sunday of every month at 6.00pm. What happens is different every time, but typically we aim to celebrate:
• the Wonders of Creation
• the Common Ground of Humanity
• the Wisdom of Many Spiritual Traditions
• the Longing for Peace
One World Worship lasts about an hour and is always followed by a simple soup-and-bread style meal. No need to book, just turn up.
Please sign up for our Newsletter, if you would like to be kept informed of upcoming themes.
