A Place to be Real Together

Dawn Chorus, Mothwatch & Full English

Early morning birdsong with expert commentary, a lip-smacking breakfast, and up to 30 of us meeting outdoors!

Mon 17 May 2021 - 4.00am (arrivals for 4.10 start)

Space is available on this event! :-D

Yes, it’s the first day we can legally meet outdoors with up to 30 people! As first light strengthens, the woods and hedgerows around Othona will come alive with birdsong.

First timer or regular birdwatcher, you'll find Dominic Couzens a superb guide to this everyday miracle of the Spring. He is a renowned wildlife author and broadcaster, with encyclopaedic knowledge and a very engaging style.

He'll also introduce us to whatever mammals and moths visited overnight (all weather permitting).

Our tasty breakfast will be Covid-secure. Outdoors, but under cover if need be. Please dress warmly and bring a face covering for use if necessary. We cannot welcome the group indoors, except for use of toilets etc.

We finish by 9.00 but you can slip away earlier if work calls.
