Almost all economic theory assumes ‘growth’ can go on forever. But inequality and exhaustion of the earth’s resources challenge that orthodoxy. Is a more sustainable economy really possible? One in which spiritual values could also take their place? Steve Mandel – formerly of the New Economics Foundation – offers a workshop weekend for us non-experts.
