This family week is particularly suitable for younger children. Morning activities will centre on taking music and song outdoors, discovering how the experience of the fields and woods can feed into our tunes and songs.
Claire Shaw loves to help children find their song and enjoys using nature as a creative catalyst. Her experience stretches from Little Opera in San Francisco to individual singing coaching and primary school in East Devon. She’s also the mum of a three year old who needs no encouragement to burst into song!
Claire says:
"Come play. Come play in the woods, on the beach, in the fields.
"Raise your voice around the fire, explore the undergrowth, share ideas, listen, be still.
"Using nature as our muse, we'll spend the week exploring creative ways to connect sound and nature. As a family you'll weave songs and stories, make wild music, dance and sing."
