Nicky Temple
This retreat, led by Othona favourite Nicky Temple, offers you the gift of journeying with Valarie Kaur’s inspirational material in her Revolutionary Love Project. Valarie is a Sikh activist with a huge heart of compassion and love. During the retreat we will be discovering in community …
- How to show up with love in a time of turmoil?
- What can love do in the face of fear and oppression?
- How to find longevity, joy and beloved community?
Through guided meditation, Lectio Divina (sacred reading), creativity, movement and sharing we will begin to explore these questions. Using Valarie as our guide, we will “see no stranger, breathe and push, and tend the wound”. Each of these help us turn inward to our own selves, outward to others as well as inviting us to safely grieve, rage and reimagine.
It could help deepen the retreat if you are reading, or have read, Valarie's book See No Stranger.
