Thursday 2 February 2023 (and the seven following Thursdays) 10.30 to 12 noon
Space is available on this event! :-D
This eight week course in meditation focuses on developing our own meditation practice as a way of seeking wholeness both in ourselves and in the way we respond to the world around us. For people with some experience of meditation (in whatever tradition), this is not designedfor total beginners.
Our course leader Tim Stead has run a number of much appreciated mindfulness events at Othona in recent years.
The aims are:
- To support people in developing their own daily meditation practice
- To see how meditation can shift our perspective on life and enable us to respond from a different place
- To explore the relationship between mindfulness and the non-dual spiritual traditions
The format will be eight 90-minute weekly zoom sessions, with an expectation that you seek to develop your own daily meditation practice during the weeks between sessions. Audios will be available to support this.
