A Place to be Real Together

>> Creativity and Mindfulness

In our contemporary life we often struggle to find the space to nurture our creative selves.

At the heart of this retreat, mindfulness meditation and the practice of weaving are combined with time and space to reflect and develop your own ideas within a playful, calm and non-judgmental environment.

Our particular focus will be upon heightening our sensory awareness, exploring our environment, using a range of fibres and materials and learning to weave ideas, in natural free-form ways and tapestry weaving on simple frame looms. Modest costs for materials will be payable during the retreat.

We will be practising mindfulness and self-compassion, and exploring how they can support the development of your creativity and help with creative blocks or lack of confidence.

This retreat is suitable for all, whatever your previous creative, weaving or mindfulness experience.
