A Place to be Real Together

Emma C Tabor - Artist 2020

I have always been interested in natural and man-made patterns. My drawings explore the development, language and perception of patterns.  This year I had hoped to show some large drawings within the chancel of the chapel at Othona.  I started with smaller scale sketches like those shown here, which are about 58cm by 21cm in size, to explore how to use the different format.  I also tried some larger scale versions and recorded the process as stop motion videos.  While I have an initial starting point for my drawings each develops as I go along, so I am never sure what the final results will be.
