Tom Farley (see picture) - your facilitator and host for this event - used to live and works at Othona sharing the catering role with his wife Eleanor. We're delighted to welcome him back for another games event.
If you have any gaming-specific questions about the event, please feel free to get in touch with Tom via email at farleytpm@gmail.com. He will be providing his board games collection for use during the event. For an idea of the games that will be available, check out the table of games (foot of page) or his Board Game Geek List. You are also encouraged to bring and share your own board games if you would like to. If people bring multiple copies of the same game to the event, that could also be great for tournaments with multiple games occuring in parallel.
We'll have our beautiful Four Seasons Studio available for playing games with a great sea view, as well as having cosy party and card games by the open fire in the living room.
If you are wondering about the name of the event "Othona's Circle of Meeples", it's a combination of the "Circle of Friends" which features in our logo and newsletters and "Meeples" which are the small figures used as playing pieces in many board games.
The event will start with supper at 6:30pm on Saturday and end after lunch on Wednesday.
