Peter Roe has a background in technology and education, he’s a frequent performer at events across the Southwest. He says “That moment of epiphany, when the light goes on in someone’s eyes... They get it! I love to give people confidence, a voice and the knowledge to grow.”
Each block of four workshops will involve a variety of methods and exercises to inspire and motivate. Whilst some may feel comfortable sharing their writing, it is not necessary in order to take part. For those who wish to ’perform’ their work, Peter continues to host a monthly online Zoom event for writers of all abilities called Jawbone.
Peter Roe is a prize-winning poet and flash fiction writer. Host of Bridport’s Apothecary Spoken Word for six years and a former Bard of Dorchester. He has been widely anthologised and has two books behind him and three due to be published in the early part of 2023. He is a frequent performer across the South-West and is an event organiser and publisher for other poets.
He has delivered writing workshops that provide a safe space to inspire participants to delve into their creativity, gain confidence, and find their own unique voice. There is no doubt that the last few years have been challenging for many. Others have found a voice, discovered new talents and have been free in spite of circumstances.
