A melodic week in community, with an informal but infectious musical theme.
There’ll be laughter, relaxation and an atmosphere of delightful sounds. Chances to share the music you love, to make music or sing – all organised in Covid-aware ways. Maybe a drum circle with the Othona djembes?
We’ll be blessed by the presence of jazz singer/songwriter Joanna Eden and bass player Andrès … They’ll be with us all week, supporting everyone’s musical efforts. Regular Othona visitor Joanna is a brilliant teacher and inspirer – her former pupil Sam Smith called her “the reason I sing”!
Thursday evening will feature Jo and Andrès in concert (£10 for visitors, free to you)
And if folk/roots music and dance are your taste, there’ll be a chance to visit Sidmouth Folk Festival using shared cars. All this in Othona’s inclusive community ethos.
