Othona is delighted to welcome John Bell of the Iona Community's Wild Goose group. His voice will be familiar to many as a regular contributor to Thought for the Day on Radio 4.

By taking part in this retreat you'll have a double treat. John will be exploring with us 'The Engaged Spirituality of Jesus'. This is the main theme of his time at Othona.

But on Saturday he will set aside that topic and instead lead morning and afternoon singing sessions, with songs from the Iona Community and from the world church.

John Bell is the composer of many original hymns and songs. His passion is for congregations all to sing together, rather than the training of choirs who can read music. So please don't let any doubts about your singing voice inhibit you from booking.

Room Sharing
For this retreat we offer a 50% reduction in charges for a second adult who shares a room with a friend or partner. Please make clear that this is your intention by booking together.

Non-Residents
We can welcome a small number of non-resident participants for the whole of this retreat. The non-resident charge includes all meals except breakfasts. Early booking is advised.

Singing Day Only
On Saturday our numbers will be swelled by some local friends joining just for the song sessions. To book for this day only follow this link.
