Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th February 2024
Space is available on this event! :-D
Come just to have a restful winter break in friendly surroundings at this time of Candlemas/Imbolc. (Candlelit celebration in chapel, anyone?) Or come to do that and get outdoors for some practical action and learning.
Open Space is a relaxing long weekend when people are more important than 'programme'. We can be creative, practical, playful, prayerful together... but nothing much is pre-planned. You may just like to rest, read, ramble. We have space to "be real together" in community.
This time, however, you'll also have the option of practical tuition in pruning apple trees. Peter Clarke is our tutor. He has his own garden design and maintenance business ('Cracking Gardens') and regularly visits Othona with his family.
Because travel on winter Sundays can be so tricky we offer an option of stopping over to Monday morning for a small extra donation. You can decide and donate while you are with us.
