These events are so popular that we are putting on an extra one this year, so do sign up soon. Ideal for active, practical people who like to lend a hand and do something worthwhile.
Sharing jobs round the house and grounds we all get a real sense of achievement and camaraderie – an opportunity to blow away the cobwebs and burn off any unwelcome winter weight! We will be working hard together (up to 6 hours a day) but enjoying ourselves and building community too.
We aim to vary the jobs to suit all abilities, both indoors and outdoors. Reasonable levels of fitness and energy, however, are recommended. We will have some outdoor jobs even if the weather is inclement, but we will balance this with good, hearty food and of course the opportunity to sit and relax by the fire.
