60 & Counting: Othona Past, Present and Future

This week begins a month of our "60 & Counting" Festival, celebrating Othona's presence in Dorset since 1965.

There's so much to be grateful for in that time. The week will introduce you to:

• 60 years remembered: never-seen-before interviews and pictures
• Community House before 1965: a glimpse of its remarkable history
• What's Othona For... Today? Current projects and future challenges explored
• An Open Day looking to welcome the "I've driven past but never been in" crowd
• A Mystery Project in the grounds for everyone who likes to get practical
• Lots more for fun and interest 

This is a Pay What You Can week 

We want to share the experience as widely as possible. So literally - it's up to you! Decide what you feel the week might be worth to you and what you can afford. We won't query it. 

So this could be for you if you need a real bargain break. But also, if you know you can pay more than what just covers our costs, please do! Think of that as "paying it forward" since it helps us to offer reduced prices and bursaries to those who need them throughout the year.

How does this work on the Booking Form? Please just opt for the Standard charge rate when you make the booking. Then we will get in touch with you to clarify how much you would like to pay and to invoice you accordingly. All done confidentially.

And to fit in as many of you as possible we're inviting maximum room sharing thisw week "like in the old days". Please bring your own partner/friend or let us know (in the Questions or Comments section of the booking form) if you're willing this time to share bedrooms with another compatible visitor.
