This event is the finale of our "60 & Counting" Festival, celebrating Othona's presence in Dorset since 1965.
We're delighted to welcome Dave Tomlinson as guest speaker, for the last lap of our month-long celebrations. He'll explore with us what the mid-21st century calling may be for an inclusive community like Othona - rooted in Christianity and open to a widening future.
Dave describes himself as "bad christian, slightly better vicar, struggling writer, improving husband, model epicure, awesome dreamer". You can visit his Holy Shed youtube channel here.
His books range from The Post-Evangelical (1995) to OMG! A bad Christian's Book of Prayers (2024). Dave can be with us until the Friday morning.
Then on Saturday we'll enjoy a big Anniversary Celebration with our new 60 & Counting video compilation, some live music, and hopefully lots of Othona's local friends visiting too.
