Othona always greets the New Year in a warm-hearted community fashion, with both relaxation and stimulation, including a bit of a feast.

This year we welcome back Penny Motley and Hendrik Meins from Germany who'll help us, both with a hopeful step from the old year to the new and with a tuneful one.

Experienced coach, facilitator and mentor as well as lifetime community member Penny Motley will be offering her New Year workshop again that some may remember from years past, providing all who wish with a quiet space and guidance for personal reflections on the year past and new in two sessions. The workshop enables you to take a step back from all that fills your days and weeks and consider your personal bigger picture…

It is suitable for adults of all ages who would appreciate the opportunity to reflect and plan in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. You'll need a notebook for writing down your reflections, a few sheets of coloured paper and a thick marker pen.

And since Penny and Hendrik both have fine voices, we promise them and you that this New Year will not be short of chances to learn and enjoy songs together.

Weather permitting there will be the option of a country walk on New Year’s Day too.

Other activities will depend very much on the mix of people who sign up. Will you be here?
