January can be a bit of a glum month, can't it? So what could be better than to join us for a relaxing weekend in community? Hearty seasonal food. Good company to help banish the blues. Evenings with games and laughter round the log fire.

There will be an opportunity to look forward to 2026 together in a simple workshop format.

And space for your own choice of activity: creativity in the studio, curling up with a book in the library, a walk when the weather smiles.

Then on Sunday evening a celebration of three festival days: Candlemas, Imbolc and St. Brigid - in a chapel brimming with candles. (Brigid is also known as Bride and Othona is on the edge of the Bride Valley.)

And our New Year gift: we're offering three nights for the usual price of two!

This avoids winter Sunday travel, especially by public transport. If travelling via Weymouth on Monday using the bus, we advise you to book on a train leaving there no earlier than 11.30.
