A Place to be Real Together

Dorset Art Weeks 2016

Exhibition, Artists' Talks, Residential Events & Cream Teas

Dorset Art Weeks 2016 is over but you can still see our exhibition!

Here's a quick video tour of our 2016 'Seeing It Differently' exhibition at Othona West Dorset.

In 2012, Othona West Dorset was a Dorset Art Weeks venue for the first time. We welcomed almost 1,000 visitors and enjoyed the experience so much that we have been participating in 'DAW' - Britain's largest open studios and exhibitions event - ever since! It's an amazing experience for artists and visitors alike.

Here's a leaflet with more information about the 2016 artists. And a magazine article.

And here's a look at a short video of the 2014 exhibition or images from 2012 exhibition.

The 2016 exhibitors were established and emerging artists whose practices have been enriched by a relationship with Othona West Dorset.

The work - painting, drawing, textiles, printmaking, collage and photography - were displayed in the spacious simplicity and stillness of Othona’s chapel.

Visitors were welcome to chat with the artists, explore the grounds, and enjoy the stunning sea views.

Large and small pieces were for sale, plus cards.

Visit the artists' websites to learn more about their work!
